On Saturday, January 9 at 11:47 AM the Millstone Township Fire Company and First Aid was dispatched to 52 Red Valley Road for a reported chimney fire.  Within moments 3290 and 3296 called in service followed by Chief Carbin, 3266.  Initial report indicated a  2 1/2 story residential with heavy smoke coming from the chimney area on the division B/C corner.  The crew of 3290 (Lt. South) quickly gained access to the roof area while an additional crew from 3285 stretched an 1 3/4 hand line.  Additional units from station 82-1 also responded.  Crews worked freeing up debris from the flute area and remained on scene for clean up.  26-2 provided coverage for the town while all station 32-1 units worked the scene.
